Szatmár Festival: A large-scale series of events with different venues to present the gastronomic richness and traditions of the region. It is held between 13 and 30 August 2010. (Tunyogmatolcs – Szamos River-Bank Meeting, Fehérgyarmat – Gyarmat Fair, Túristvándi – Fish Soup Competition, Szatmárcseke – International Plum Jam Making Competition, Penyige – Szenke River-Bank Festival, Milota – Walnut Festival)

The successful "Taste Hungary" gastronomy event will be organized on 17-18. September 2010. in the Village Museum of Sóstó. Visitors can try more than 50 different dishes, exceeding last year’s range.
